 Over the
last 70 years “The Roxy” has changed name, ownership
and purpose numerous times. It was, for 10 years owned and
operated by the late and famous Bernard King as a cabaret
restaurant.
The current owner Mr Bill Mougios and his family have owned
and operated The Botany Bay Seafood Restaurant, located directly
underneath The Grand Roxy, since 1983. It has always been
Bill and his families’ dream to restore The Roxy to
its original grandeur.
This dream became a reality in 2004 when Rockdale Council
gave its approval and granted major renovations to take place.
Today, The Grand Roxy, in all its grandeur is again offering
what it did so many years ago, with a few new features:
